Dutch/Indonesian Sateh Saus (similar to Thai peanut sauce)
(Submitted by David Menko)

Ingredients:
1/2 jar peanut butter (we use Skippy crunchy - medium size container)
1 crushed garlic clove
1 cup milk
2 teaspoons Sambal (red pepper paste)
1/4 cup Ketjap Saus (a sweet soy saus - can substitute normal soy saus but then add some sugar to taste)

Directions:
- Add everything in a sauce pan.
- Heat gently while stirring to create desired thickness - add more milk if necessary
- Add any ingedient to satisfy indivudual taste preference
- Serve warm over chicken, beef or pork skewers

Great as appatizer or as main course. But you can also serve sauce over cold noodles with chicken, scallions and sesame seeds to create a summer salad.
